ASH NET supports IPv6 on its network. Most modern routers, phones and computers use it automatically once it is enabled on the router.
- In your router’s WAN/internet settings set IPv6 to automatic – SLAAC or DHCPv6 with prefix delegation. (On ASH NET TP-Link routers: Advanced → IPv6, enable, internet connection type Dynamic IPv6/auto.)
- Save and restart the router. Devices on your network receive IPv6 addresses within a minute or two.
- Check at test-ipv6.com.
If IPv6 is not active on your connection yet, contact support and we will enable it. IPv6 does not replace a static IPv4 address for services that only speak IPv4 – see Static IP, CGNAT and port forwarding.
