Eligibility Criteria
1. Address – the property must have a fibre connection installed with a Chorus or Tuatahi First Fibre ONT (fibre box), and the ONT must have been inactive (no broadband service) for at least 3 months. Manual exceptions can apply, including transfers of existing Digital Equity connections.
2. Household – at least one of: living in Kāinga Ora or community housing; a child enrolled at a school with an Equity Index of 490 or higher; or a SuperGold Card holder.
3. Proof of low income – a Community Services Card or a Benefit Breakdown Letter from MyMSD.
Equity Fibre 100 is available only to eligible households under the Chorus and Tuatahi Digital Equity programme. All applications are subject to verification and approval, and standard terms apply.
