Speed dial, last-number redial (*66) and call return (*69)

Speed dial

Assign a number to each of the digit keys 2–9 so you can dial it with a single press. This works best with the Secure VoIP apps and softphones; desk phones often have their own dial plan that intercepts single digits.

  1. Log in to the VoIP portal, open the Voice tab and click the number or extension.
  2. From the Outgoing Calls menu choose Speed Dial, enter a number for each digit you want to use and click Save.

For desk phones, add the numbers to your External Contacts list with a speed-dial code and dial ** followed by the code (for example **12).

Redial and call return

  • *66 – redials the last number you called.
  • *69 – calls back the last number that rang you.

By default both codes ask you to confirm. Under Outgoing Calls → Redial Options you can have *66 read the number back before dialling, and skip the confirmation prompt for *69.
