To qualify for the Equity Fibre 100 plan, applicants must meet the following criteria:
🏡 1. Address Requirements
- The property must have a fibre connection installed via a Chorus or Tuatahi ONT (Optical Network Terminal)
- The ONT must have been inactive (no active broadband service) for at least 3 months
- In some cases, manual exceptions may apply, including transfers of existing Digital Equity connections
👨👩👧👦 2. Household Eligibility
Applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions:
- Living in Kainga Ora or community housing
OR - Have a child enrolled in a school with an Equity Index of 490 or higher
- Living in Kainga Ora or community housing
💳 3. Proof of Low Income
Applicants must provide valid proof of low-income status, such as:
- Community Services Card (CSC)
- Benefit Breakdown Letter from MyMSD
